We’ve been busy the last 6 months generating some cool videos for your viewing pleasure. We’ve filmed some historic cannabis culture events and highlighted some of our favorite vendors and products. Check out the following HEMP cannabis video series at our YouTube channel:
In this series, we take you inside the legal weed producer and processor facilities around the state of Washington. If you’re interested in who is growing the chronic you’re smoking, watch these to learn more!
Every last Sunday of the month from 1-4pm, we host cultural cannabis events where we feature live music or art by local musicians inside the HEMP house. Check out past Sunday Sessions, as well as other cultural events.
Budtender’s Choice videos on Instagram
In this series, we ask our budtenders what they’re smoking, eating, and enjoying from the shelves of HEMP. We are proud to smoke what we sell, and excited to share that with you. Check out these videos exclusively on Instagram.
All videos done by our friends at SL Films!

Sunday Sessions featuring local duo Beefsoupclover!
Sunday June 25th // 1-4pm // FREE // 21+
We’ve been inviting our community into the HEMP house since April 2015 for our monthly cannabis culture event, Sunday Sessions. Each month, we host a free event where we feature local musicians or artists in performances ranging from live glass blowing to live painting, screen printing or even pumpkin carving. Sunday Sessions at HEMP invites us to check in with our community often, support those around us, and gather to share ideas both about the legal weed industry and life in general.
Featured this month: Local Vancouver, WA favorites Beef Soup Clover. Amery and Jake will be throwing down some incredible originals and favorite covers! Don’t miss this one of a kind cannabis culture event.
June 2017 Featured Artist: Diane Irby
Mixed media, photography, assemblage and hand embroidered works created by Vancouver artist, Diane Irby, will be on exhibit in the front parlor gallery of High End Market Place throughout the month of June.
Diane Irby is a multidisciplinary artist, environmentalist, explorer & hopeless romantic. Her art career was established in Detroit, where she spent years urban exploring, photographing her environment, & creating mixed media works with ephemera harvested from the abandoned locations she’d visit. She went on to become a well known curator of art events in the Detroit area, was invited to exhibit her first solo show at the esteemed Scarab Club of Detroit, & in 2014 was named Best Detroit Local Artist.
Diane’s artwork can be found in collections & galleries throughout the U.S. & across the globe. She is well sought after for her work as an artistic portrait photographer, & has been featured in numerous art publications. Most recently, Diane’s art was featured on Portlandia, Season 7 (American TV show).
Diane’s aesthetic is often a mix of antiquated imagery & colors. In her photography & mixed media works she brings to light the beauty in sadness, nostalgia, solitude, longing & decay.
She takes special interest in using genuine ephemera & materials, many of which come directly from abandoned locations and antique auctions, adding another level of authenticity to the emotions evoked by the work.
In the summer of 2015, Diane moved across the country to settle in Vancouver, WA with her daughter & fiance, outsider artist Justin Aerni. Together they live & create in a cottage on a little hill with their two cats. Find out more about Diane Irby at dianeirby.com
