Join us August 11th & 12th for Vancouver’s Brewfest at Esther Short Park
We’re super excited to be one of the community sponsors of this year’s summer edition Vancouver Brewfest at Esther Short Park! Join us for this charity event featuring craft beer vendors from all over the Pacific Northwest. We’ll have our booth set up on Friday from 4-9pm and Saturday from 12-9pm. We’ll be offering up some non-infused samples, playing corn hole, and answering any questions you may have about recreational and medical cannabis, and what’s going on currently in the industry. Things are changing very quickly, specifically with medical cannabis, and with 90% of our staff trained as medical marijuana consultants, we have the information you are looking for. Sunday Sessions featuring local reggae band Collection of Lone Souljahs / CoLoSo

We’ve been inviting our community into the HEMP house since April 2015 for our monthly cannabis culture event, Sunday Sessions. Each month, we host a free event where we feature local musicians or artists in performances ranging from live glass blowing to live painting, screen printing or even pumpkin carving. Sunday Sessions at HEMP invites us to check in with our community often, support those around us, and gather to share ideas both about the legal weed industry and life in general.
About Collection of Lone Souljahs
Collection of Lone Souljahs is just that: a group of talented musicians who met while playing their own individual solo acts in Vancouver, WA. Every Coloso show is filled with good times, chill vibes, dancing and happy faces all around. Coloso brings the island sunshine to brighten any room, and they never fail to deliver a smile to your face.
In 2016, they released their first full length album, “This is the Life”, produced and engineered by B&W Records in Portland, OR. They’ve since played with such acts as Sol Seed, Fayuca, Bachaco, One Drop, Piracy Conspiracy, Sammy J., Ekolu, Ho’ Onua, House of Shem, and Grammy award winners, Morgan Heritage, among many others. July 2017 Featured Artist: Pop Octopus / Chris Stevens
Pop Octopus is an extension of a brain warped by growing up on too much science fiction, monster movies and comic books. He’s not searching for truth or making a statement about the nature of man, he makes the pretty eye candy that goes POP! All of his work is hand screenprinted and painted right here in Vancouver Washington, walking distance from where you’re standing at this moment in time and space.
All of Steven’s work is made from a place of love for the subject matter in the painting. Stevens makes it because it’s in his head waiting to get out. He’s been selling his wares in one form or another in this corner of the great Pacific Northwest for the past ten years or so. Stevens is a native to this fine corner of the country and love this place and all of the beauty in it.
Call it fan art, call it pop art, call it what you will, Stevens just hopes you enjoy looking at it as much as he enjoys making it. Pop Octopus is open to commission work as well as retailing in stores.

About Colin Ranney Music & Aron Schur:
Colin Ranney & Aron Schur are two singer/songwriters who have been developing their unique sound all around the Vancouver/Portland area together and separately for over a decade. In addition to collaborating in the bands Sell The Farm and Part Time Perfect, Colin & Aron frequently perform trading songs and melodies as an acoustic duo. Colin Ranney’s solo album ‘& Friends’ came out in July of 2015 and the debut album from Part Time Perfect was released April 2017

“Already an art major, Greg had a cerebral aneurysm in 2014 which altered his perception and emotional response to making art.
